# How to create and set up your 404 page

**Here is a quick guide on how to build and set up a page for the 404 error code.**

## 1. Create and style the 404 page

The first thing you will need to do is to create a new page.

* Go to the **Left panel** -> **Layers & Files** tab and
* Click the **“+ button”** and **New page**
* Rename the page to 404 and style it according to your design or preferences

| Alternatively you can duplicate one of your existing pages.

## 2. Setting the 404 page

To set up the page:

* Go to the **Layers & Files** -> **Pages**
* **Right click** on the page that you have just created
* Select **Set as 404 Page**
