# How to edit uploaded Text files

**In this short article you will learn how to edit certain text files directly in the studio.**

To edit a text element uploaded in your project:

* Go to **Assets Manager -> Uploads**
* Click on the **⋮ icon** on the text file you want to edit or **Right click**
* Click the **Edit** button
* Edit the file
* Click **Save**

This will only work on editable text files.

Important custom files that can be added and edited inside of the studio can include: **robots.txt** or **sitemap.xml**.
