How to refer friends and earn AI tokens (Affiliate Program)

With the TeleportHQ Affiliate Program, you share your personal referral link and earn AI tokens when people you refer subscribe. Open Account Settings → Affiliate (or click Refer & Earn), click Copy next to your link and share it. When someone creates a new account through the link and pays for a subscription in time, the tokens are added to the workspace you pick.

Before you start#

• You need a TeleportHQ account. Guests can't take part.
• The reward is paid in AI tokens. How many tokens, and how long a referral has to subscribe, are shown under How it works on the Affiliate tab.
• Tokens go to a workspace you own. If you don't own one yet, they're held until you do.

Steps#

Share your referral link#

1. Open the Affiliate Program in one of these ways:
   • On the dashboard, point at your name at the top of the left sidebar, click the ⋯ icon that appears, then click Affiliate Program.
   • On the dashboard, in the left sidebar under RESOURCES, click Refer & Earn. If the list is closed, click RESOURCES to open it.
   • In the editor, click Refer & Earn at the top right, next to Share, or open the Project Menu (the TeleportHQ logo) and click Refer & Earn. A Refer & Earn window opens with your link, so you don't leave your project.
2. In Your referral link ("Anyone who signs up through this link is attributed to you."), click Copy. The message "Link copied" appears.
3. Paste the link anywhere you like: an email, a chat, your website. Or click the X, LinkedIn or Facebook icon next to Share to post it there.

In the editor's Refer & Earn window, click View your referrals to open the full Affiliate tab.

Choose where rewards go#

1. On the Affiliate tab, find Reward destination ("Where the tokens you earn are credited.").
2. Open the menu and pick a workspace you own. The tokens available in the chosen workspace show next to the menu.

By default, rewards go to your oldest workspace. Your choice applies to future rewards.

Check that it worked#

On the Affiliate tab:

• Your performance shows Signups (accounts created through your link), Subscribed (referrals who paid) and Tokens earned. It updates while the page is open.
• Your referrals lists everyone who signed up through your link, with part of their email address hidden, and a status: Signed up, Subscribed or Rewarded.

Troubleshooting#

Someone signed up but doesn't appear in Your referrals They must create a new account by opening your link. People who already had an account, or signed up without the link, aren't counted. A referral that can never earn a reward, for example one that didn't pay in time or is your own second account, is removed from the list.

A referral subscribed but I didn't get tokens Check the program terms. A subscription doesn't qualify if:

• it was paid after the qualifying window shown on the Affiliate tab;
• it's a free trial or used a 100%-off coupon;
• the invoice was paid entirely from account credit;
• the account is yours (including another address you control, such as a Gmail +tag or dotted variant).

"Your participation is on hold" TeleportHQ paused your participation. New signups through your link aren't counted while this is shown, and tokens you already earned stay in your workspace. If you think it's a mistake, write to hello@teleporthq.io.

I can't find Affiliate Program or Refer & Earn The Affiliate Program isn't open right now, so TeleportHQ hides its menu items and buttons. If you open the Affiliate tab while it's closed, it says "Coming soon" and "The Affiliate Program is not open yet. Check back shortly."

"Could not load your affiliate program details." Click Retry. If Your performance says Updates paused, click Retry next to it.

Facebook opens an empty post Facebook doesn't let TeleportHQ pre-fill a message. Paste your link into the post yourself. X and LinkedIn fill in a message with your link for you.

Good to know#

• Rewards are given once per referred account, for its first paid subscription only.
• Earned tokens work like purchased tokens: they don't expire monthly. They have no cash value and can't be transferred.
