How to download sales reports and order exports

In TeleportHQ, store reports live in Growth → E-Commerce → Orders, on the Reports & Exports tab. Choose Generate report for a multi-page PDF with revenue, product, customer and location figures, Download invoices for a ZIP of a period's invoices, Download orders for a CSV or JSON file you can open in Excel or Google Sheets, or Download subscriptions for your subscribers. Pick a month or a date range, then click the button. These tools work on Trial, Pro and Premium workspaces.

Before you start

  • Plan. Your workspace must be on a Trial, Pro or Premium plan. When a trial or subscription has ended, the options show a PRO label and open an upgrade window. See plans and pricing.
  • Orders. You need orders in the period you pick.

Steps

1. Open Reports & Exports

  1. In the left sidebar, click Growth (under Live, below Plugins).
  2. In the Growth panel, under E-Commerce, click Orders ("Track sales & export reports"). The Orders page opens over the canvas.
  3. In the menu on the left of the Orders page, click Reports & Exports ("PDF reports & invoice archives").

The TeleportHQ Reports & Exports tab shows the four options on the left (Generate report, Download invoices, Download orders and Download subscriptions), a card on the right that says "Pick Generate report or Download invoices to choose a period and run the export." until you pick one, and the Generated reports table below.

2. Generate a PDF sales report

  1. Click Generate report. The card on the right is now titled Generate report, with a note such as 18 of 20 left today: how many reports you can still make today.
  2. Choose the period:
    • Month (the default): pick a month in Reporting month. Only months with orders are listed.
    • Custom range: pick From and To dates. It starts with the last 30 days.
  3. If your site has several languages, choose one in Report language.
  4. Click Generate report (PDF).

The PDF downloads, and a copy is saved in your Assets Manager. The report holds an executive summary compared with the previous period of the same length, revenue and orders over time, an order and payment breakdown, product performance, where your customers are (by delivery location), customers, invoicing and tax, the vouchers redeemed and an order ledger (the list of orders). Stores that sell subscriptions or digital products get a section for each.

3. Export orders or subscriptions as CSV or JSON

  1. Click Download orders (or Download subscriptions).
  2. Choose Month or Custom range. For subscriptions, the period is the date each subscription started.
  3. In Export format, choose CSV (spreadsheet) or JSON.
  4. Click Download orders (CSV) or Download orders (JSON) (or the Download subscriptions button).

Your browser downloads a file like orders-2026-08.csv. It has one row per order: the order number, statuses, amounts (including discounts, gift card, refunded and net amounts), voucher, payment details, billing and shipping details, pickup details, notes, invoice number and dates. A subscriptions export lists each subscription's plan, amount, status and next billing date.

While Download orders is open, the table below the card lists that period's orders (Orders, with a count and a Refresh button). Click a row to open the order's details on the right.

4. Download invoices as a ZIP

Click Download invoices, pick the period and click Download invoices (ZIP). The table below lists that period's invoices. See How to open and download order invoices.

Check that it worked

  • For a report: the message Report for August 2026 generated and saved to your assets. appears, the note shows one report fewer left today, and the report shows under Generated reports.
  • For an export: the message Downloaded 42 orders for August 2026. appears.

Reopen a past report

  1. On the Reports & Exports tab, look at the Generated reports table, with the columns Report period, Generated, Size and Open. While Download invoices or Download orders is open, close its card with the X (or click Generate report) to see the table again.
  2. Optional: search by period or date (Search reports by period or date).
  3. Click Open on the report's row. The PDF opens in a new tab.

Reports are also in the Assets Manager, in the reports folder.

Troubleshooting

"No months with orders yet. Use a custom range instead." No month has orders yet. Switch to Custom range.

"You have reached the daily limit of 20 reports. Please try again tomorrow." You can generate 20 PDF reports per day; the note reads 0 of 20 left today. Try again the next day, or use Download orders in the meantime.

"You have reached the maximum of 500 stored reports. Please contact support if you need to generate more." Your store can keep up to 500 generated reports, and they can't be deleted. Write to hello@teleporthq.io.

"No orders were found for August 2026." The export picks orders by the date they were placed. Choose a wider range.

"This store has no subscriptions yet — they appear with the first recurring product." Download subscriptions has nothing to export until you sell a subscription. See How to sell subscriptions.

"The report could not be generated." or "The orders could not be exported." Try again. If it keeps happening, try a shorter period.

"The report was downloaded but could not be saved to your assets." Your PDF is fine, but it won't show under Generated reports. Keep your downloaded copy.

There's no Reports & Exports in the E-Commerce panel Reports moved to the Growth panel. The E-Commerce panel holds Payment Providers and Products; open Growth → E-Commerce → Orders → Reports & Exports instead.

Good to know

  • Several currencies. TeleportHQ doesn't convert between currencies. A report for a store with orders in several currencies starts with an Orders by currency table and then gives each currency its own chapter.
  • Tax figures come from issued invoices only, so orders without an invoice (for example unpaid ones) aren't in the tax collected.
  • Big stores. The order ledger in the PDF shows the latest 600 orders. Very large periods (over 40,000 orders) may give incomplete reports and exports.
  • The order export has no line items. It doesn't list the products in each order or their parcels.
  • Time zone. Months and date ranges follow your computer's time zone.
  • Stored reports can't be deleted. The reports folder in the Assets Manager is protected.
  • Invoice ZIPs and order exports aren't saved in TeleportHQ.
  • Download orders and Download subscriptions need an active plan too, although the upgrade window only mentions invoice archives and PDF reports.
  • To export your product catalog instead, see How to export your products.
