How to export your products

How to export your products

You can download every product in your TeleportHQ store as a CSV file (for spreadsheets) or a JSON file (for developers, and to keep variants). In the E-Commerce panel, click More actions (…) next to Products, choose Export Products, pick a format and click Export as CSV or Export as JSON. The file downloads to your computer.

Before you start

Steps

  1. In the editor's left sidebar (the icon column), click E-commerce (the card icon). If you don't see it, click Plugins, then E-commerce, then Open next to E-commerce panel. The E-Commerce panel opens.
  2. Next to Products, click More actions (the … button, left of +).
  3. Click Export Products. The Export Products window opens and says how many products it exports, for example "Export all 48 products from your store."
  4. Under Choose format, click CSV ("Spreadsheet-compatible") or JSON ("Developer-friendly").
  5. Click Export as CSV or Export as JSON.

The file downloads with a name like products-export-2026-10-13.csv (the date of the export).

Check that it worked

A message says, for example, "Exported 48 products as CSV". Open the file: each product is one row (CSV) or one entry (JSON).

Troubleshooting

"No products to export" Your store has no products yet. Add or import products first.

An upgrade window opens instead of the export Your workspace has no active trial or paid plan. Choose a plan to export products. See the TeleportHQ pricing page.

Good to know

  • What's in the file. Every product, with its name, address, description, price, stock, status, photos (as web addresses), categories, Google Shopping details, discounts, product options, digital and subscription settings, and the custom product page it opens on.
  • Variants are complete in JSON only. A JSON export includes each product's variant combinations (price, stock and SKU per size or color), so you can import the file again without losing them. A CSV export lists the variant options but not the combinations.
  • Every product, once. The export reads your whole catalog page by page, in a fixed order, so a large store gets every product exactly once.
  • Translations are included when your site has more than one language, in columns such as fr_name and fr_description.
  • Importing the file again. You can import an exported file into another TeleportHQ store. The import always adds new products; it doesn't update the ones already there. It doesn't bring back related products, 3D models, custom properties, the gift card setting, or categories other than each product's main one. See How to import products from a file (including Shopify).
  • Orders are exported separately. See How to download sales reports and order exports.
  • The PRO label next to Export Products shows only when your workspace has no active trial or paid plan.
