What's the difference between Trial, Pro and Premium?
TeleportHQ has three plans: Trial, Pro and Premium. The Trial is a free 7-day test of the whole product on 1 project. Pro is for unlimited websites with private projects, a custom domain and code download. Premium includes everything in Pro, plus one web app, more monthly AI tokens, more storage per project and unlimited forms.
There is no permanent free plan. When a trial ends without a subscription, the workspace is locked. For current prices, see the TeleportHQ pricing page.
How TeleportHQ plans work
- A plan belongs to a workspace, not to your account. Each workspace (a group of projects with its own members and billing) has its own plan. If you own two workspaces, each one needs its own subscription.
- Your first workspace starts on the Trial when you sign up. You don't need a credit card. Each account gets one trial, so a second workspace needs a subscription. See How does the TeleportHQ free trial work?.
- Pro and Premium are paid monthly or yearly. Yearly billing costs less per month. The Plans tab shows the saving as a Save N% badge.
- Only the workspace owner sees the Plans and Billing tabs and can subscribe.
Trial, Pro and Premium side by side
These are the limits TeleportHQ applies to each plan. Numbers are per workspace unless the row says otherwise.

Every plan, including the Trial, includes the editor, the AI website builder, the AI Assistant, real-time collaboration, hosting with SSL on a TeleportHQ address (behind a password during the trial), analytics, SEO tools, data source connections and the Figma plugin.
Interactive parts that run in the visitor's browser work on websites on every plan, with no Web App slot: showing and hiding elements, tabs, pop-ups, collapsible text, calendars, countdowns, a kanban board, drag and drop, a language switcher and a cookie banner. Connecting a data source, the TeleportHQ database included, also keeps a project a website. Only features that need a server, such as sign-in, workflows, a store or a blog, make it a web app. See What's the difference between a website and a web app?.
Which TeleportHQ plan should I choose?
- Choose Pro if you build websites: a business site, a portfolio, landing pages for clients. You get unlimited website projects, private projects, a custom domain and code download.
- Choose Premium if you need a web app. A web app is a project with live features that need a server, such as user sign-in, workflows, an online store or a blog. Premium includes one web app, 150,000 AI tokens a month, 3 GB of storage per project and unlimited forms.
- On Pro, you can still run a web app. Buy a Web App slot for it, or upgrade to Premium later. See Why does my web app need a slot?.
- Not sure yet? Use the 7-day trial. It gives you almost everything, so you can test your real project before paying.
What the TeleportHQ trial holds back
The trial includes almost the whole product. These things need Pro or Premium:
- a public site (during the trial, every publish puts your site behind a password; see Why does my published site ask for a password?);
- private projects (trial projects are public);
- project folders;
- manual backups;
- downloading your code, from the Code window or the command palette (you can view it 10 times; web apps can't download code on any plan);
- removing the TeleportHQ branding;
- the Pro and Premium TeleportHQ database tier (a database created during the trial holds 5,000 records per table and becomes inactive 7 days after it's created, even though the editor shows the Pro and Premium limits; see Why is my TeleportHQ database inactive?);
- buying add-ons, such as extra languages or extra custom domains;
- more than 1 project.
Where to see your plan and compare plans
- On the dashboard, next to your plan name at the top (for example Premium Plan), click Manage. Workspace Settings opens.
- In the SETTINGS list on the left, click Plans.
You can also point at your workspace under WORKSPACES in the left sidebar, click its ⋯ menu, then click Plans.
The Plans tab shows the Billing period, the plan cards and a full comparison table called What's included. The column for your current plan is marked current. A Premium workspace sees only the Premium card, because Premium can't move down to Pro in place.
If you're on an older Pro subscription, the table has an extra column called Pro · your current terms. See I'm on an older or Lifetime plan.
Good to know
- "Professional" is an old name. Today's plans are Trial, Pro and Premium. Older renewal invoices may still say "Professional Plan".
- Premium can't move down to Pro in place. See Can I downgrade from Premium to Pro?.
- Add-ons cost extra on top of the plan. See What add-ons can I buy?.
- Other plans exist for schools and for older customers. See What is the Academic plan? and I'm on an older or Lifetime plan.
