How to upgrade from Pro to Premium

In TeleportHQ, you upgrade a Pro workspace to Premium from Workspace Settings → Plans: click Upgrade to Premium on the Premium card, check the amount in the confirmation window, and click Confirm and pay. You pay only the difference for the rest of your current billing period. Premium, with its included web app and 150,000 monthly AI tokens, starts immediately.

Before you start#

• You must be the workspace owner, and the workspace must be on Pro (including Pro on older terms).
• Your subscription can't be set to cancel. If you cancelled, click Continue Subscription on the Plans tab first. See How to cancel (or resume) your subscription.
• Your saved card is charged right away for the prorated difference.

Steps#

1. On the dashboard, next to your plan name at the top (Pro Plan), click Manage. Workspace Settings opens.
2. In the SETTINGS list on the left, click Plans.
3. On the Premium card, click Upgrade to Premium. The Upgrade to Premium window opens and loads a price quote.
4. Check Due now. The window explains how many days are left in your current period, and that each line is prorated.
5. Check the before-and-after rows, for example AI token bonus / month (+50,000) and Custom domains (kept).
6. Optional: under Add-ons, use + to add extra custom domains, extra languages or Web App slots. They're added to the same payment.
7. If you're on Pro with older terms, a list of your editors appears. Untick anyone who no longer needs to edit. They become Viewers, and each editor you keep gets a paid editor seat.
8. Click Confirm and pay. If your account credit covers it, the button says Confirm, covered by your credit.

You can also start the upgrade from the Upgrade to Premium card in Workspace Settings → General, or from the Premium strip at the top of your dashboard ("Premium includes 1 interactive project and 150,000 bonus AI tokens a month.").

Check that it worked#

A message says "Your workspace is now on Premium." The workspace badge shows PREMIUM, and the Plans tab shows only the Premium card, tagged Current plan. Your AI token balance gets the Premium allowance straight away. In Workspace Settings → Web Apps, Included with your plan now shows 1.

Troubleshooting#

"This subscription is set to end at the period end. Continue the subscription under Plans first." Your plan is cancelled. On the Plans tab, click Continue Subscription, then upgrade.

"This plan cannot be changed here. Lifetime and partner workspaces keep their plan; create a Pro or Premium workspace instead." Lifetime and other special plans can't switch plans. Create a new workspace and subscribe it to Premium.

"This workspace's discount would carry over to the new plan. Create a Pro or Premium workspace instead, or contact support." The workspace has a 100% discount code. Write to hello@teleporthq.io, or subscribe a new workspace.

"Could not prepare the plan change. Please try again." or "Could not change the plan. Please try again." The quote or the payment didn't go through. Wait a moment and try again. If your card was declined, update it first. See My payment failed.

Good to know#

• Your billing period stays the same. A yearly Pro becomes a yearly Premium.
• Custom domains and the add-ons you already have are kept.
• There's no way back down in place. Premium can't be switched to Pro later without the workspace ending first. See Can I downgrade from Premium to Pro?.
