Can I downgrade from Premium to Pro?

Can I downgrade from Premium to Pro?

No, not directly. TeleportHQ doesn't have a Premium-to-Pro downgrade button. To move to Pro, cancel your Premium subscription, wait for the paid period to end, then subscribe the workspace to Pro. Between those two steps the workspace ends like any lapsed subscription, so plan the timing and republish your sites afterwards.

Before you start

  • You must be the workspace owner.
  • Know what you'll lose. When Premium ends, TeleportHQ takes your sites offline, removes custom domains, archives all projects and makes private projects public. See What happens when my trial or subscription ends?.
  • Web apps need a new home. Pro doesn't include a web app. After the switch, each web app needs a Web App slot to stay online.
  • Consider staying on Premium if you rely on a web app, more than 1 GB of storage per project, or unlimited forms.

Steps

1. Cancel Premium

  1. On the dashboard, next to your plan name at the top (Premium Plan), click Manage. Workspace Settings opens.
  2. In the SETTINGS list on the left, click Plans. A Premium workspace sees only the Premium card, tagged Current plan.
  3. On the Premium card, click Cancel subscription.
  4. In the Cancel your subscription? window, click Cancel subscription.
The TeleportHQ Plans tab of a Premium workspace, with only the Premium card and its Cancel subscription link highlighted

Premium keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for. See How to cancel (or resume) your subscription.

2. Subscribe to Pro when Premium ends

  1. After the end date, open the dashboard. The panel says Your subscription has ended.
  2. Click Renew to restore access.
  3. Under Plan, choose Pro, then pick a billing period.
  4. Under Add-ons, add a Web App slot for each web app you want to keep.
  5. Click the orange button and pay on the Stripe checkout page. See How to subscribe to Pro or Premium.

3. Bring your sites back online

  1. Wait for the message "Welcome back! Your projects have been restored. Re-deploy to take your sites live again."
  2. Open each project and publish it again.
  3. Reconnect custom domains where needed.
  4. Check that each web app you want to keep has a Web App slot. See How to buy, assign or cancel a web app slot.

Check that it worked

The workspace badge shows PRO, and the Plans tab shows the Pro card tagged Current plan. Your AI token allowance is 100,000 every 30 days.

Troubleshooting

"Premium does not move down to Pro in place. Cancel the subscription under Plans; when the paid period ends, subscribe to Pro." This message appears if you try to change Premium to Pro another way. Follow the steps above.

I don't see a Pro card on the Plans tab That's expected. A Premium workspace sees only the Premium card. The What's included table below it still compares Pro and Premium.

Good to know

  • Your projects are kept. TeleportHQ doesn't delete the archived projects of a workspace whose paid subscription ended, so they come back when you subscribe to Pro.
  • Your sites are offline between the end of Premium and your Pro subscription. Subscribe to Pro on the day Premium ends to keep that gap short.
  • Private projects stay public after you resubscribe. Set them back to Private.
  • For prices, see the TeleportHQ pricing page.

How to cancel (or resume) your subscription

To cancel a TeleportHQ subscription, open Workspace Settings → Plans, click Cancel subscription on your current plan card and confirm; you keep full access until the paid period ends, then sites go offline and projects are archived, and you can undo it before then with Continue Subscription.

What happens when my trial or subscription ends?

When a TeleportHQ trial or paid subscription ends, the workspace is locked, published sites and custom domains are removed, all projects are archived and private projects become public; after a trial, archived projects are deleted about 30 days later, a workspace whose paid subscription ended keeps them, and subscribing again restores them so you can republish.

How to subscribe to Pro or Premium

To subscribe a TeleportHQ workspace, open Workspace Settings → Plans, click Choose Pro or Choose Premium, pick monthly or yearly billing and any add-ons, then pay on the Stripe checkout page; the plan starts as soon as the payment is confirmed.

What's the difference between Trial, Pro and Premium?

TeleportHQ has three plans. Trial is a free 7-day test of the whole product on 1 project, Pro is a paid plan for unlimited websites with private projects, a custom domain and code download, and Premium adds one included web app, more AI tokens, more storage and unlimited forms.

How to buy, assign or cancel a web app slot

A TeleportHQ Web App slot keeps one web app online and running; buy one in Workspace Settings → Web Apps → Buy a slot (or Keep this project next to a web app that's running out of time), give an unused slot to a project with Assign to…, and stop paying with Cancel slot.
