What add-ons can I buy? (domains, languages, web app slots, editor seats)
On a TeleportHQ Pro or Premium plan, you can buy four add-ons: extra custom domains, extra languages, Web App slots and extra editor seats. Each one is a recurring add-on on top of your plan, billed on the same monthly or yearly cycle. You can pick them while you subscribe, or buy them later in Workspace Settings, and you can cancel each one on its own.
Before you start
- Add-ons need an active Pro or Premium subscription. A trial can't buy them. On a trial, the Custom Domains and Extra Languages tabs say "Custom domains, extra languages and extra editors are not included in this plan. Create a Pro or Premium workspace to use them." You don't need a new workspace: subscribe this one to Pro or Premium. See How to subscribe to Pro or Premium.
- A plan that's set to end can't buy add-ons. If you cancelled, resume the subscription first.
- The workspace owner manages add-ons in Workspace Settings. In the editor, an admin can also buy a language slot or a Web App slot for the project.
- For prices, see the TeleportHQ pricing page. Each purchase window shows the price and what you pay today.
The four TeleportHQ add-ons
| Add-on | What it's for | Included with Pro and Premium | Where to manage it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Extra custom domain | Connect one more project to its own domain, like mybakery.com | 1 custom domain, plus 1 for each Web App slot you buy | Workspace Settings → Custom Domains |
| Extra language | Publish a project in one more language, for example German next to English | None: each project's main language is free, and every other language needs a slot | Workspace Settings → Extra Languages |
| Web App slot | Keep one web app (for example a project with user sign-in, workflows or an online store) online and running | Pro: none. Premium: 1 | Workspace Settings → Web Apps |
| Extra editor seat | Let one more person edit | The owner's seat | Workspace Settings → Collaborators |
A trial includes 1 custom domain and 1 Web App slot, but can't buy more.
How to buy TeleportHQ add-ons
While subscribing or upgrading. The plan picker has an Add-ons section with + and − buttons for Extra custom domains, Extra languages and Web App slots, up to 20 of each. They're billed on the same subscription as the plan. See How to subscribe to Pro or Premium.
Later, from the dashboard. In the left sidebar, point at your workspace under WORKSPACES and click the ⋯ that appears at the end of its row. The menu lists:
- Manage Collaborators, for editor seats.
- Custom Domains, with Purchase More Domains.
- Extra Languages, with Purchase Language Slot.
- Web Apps, with Buy a slot.
You can also click Manage under the workspace name at the top of the dashboard, then pick the tab in the SETTINGS list on the left.
From the editor, when you need one. In the Publish window, Buy Custom Domain Slot adds a domain slot. When you add a language and have no free slot, the Purchase Language Slot window offers Purchase & Assign. A web app without a slot shows Subscribe project in its banner.
Editor seats are never bought on their own. A seat is charged when you invite someone with an editing role. See How do editor seats work?.

How add-on billing works in TeleportHQ
- You pay for the rest of the period now. An add-on bought in the middle of a billing period is prorated. The window shows Charged today: before you confirm. An amount too small for a card payment says Charged on your next invoice: instead.
- Account credit is used first. If the workspace holds credit, the window shows Account credit applied: and charges only the rest.
- Same billing cycle as the plan. On a yearly plan, add-ons renew yearly; on a monthly plan, monthly. Extra editor seats on a yearly plan can renew monthly or yearly.
- Cancel any time. Cancelling stops future charges. You keep the add-on until the end of the period you've paid for, and you can click Renew before then to keep it.
- Add-ons end with the plan. If the subscription ends, the add-ons billed with it end too.
Good to know
- AI token packs aren't add-ons. They're one-time purchases that never expire, and a trial can buy them too. See How to buy more AI tokens.
- Premium includes a web app and more AI tokens. If you need one web app, upgrading to Premium can make more sense than buying a slot on Pro. See What's the difference between Trial, Pro and Premium?.
- Older plans, such as Lifetime, can buy domains, languages and Web App slots too. They're billed on a separate add-ons subscription. See I'm on an older or Lifetime plan: what do I get?.
- "Not available in your currency" next to an add-on in the plan picker means it has no price in your account's currency yet. Leave it at 0 and write to hello@teleporthq.io.
