How to buy more AI tokens

In TeleportHQ, you buy AI tokens in the Purchase Tokens window. Open it by clicking N tokens remaining next to your workspace name on the dashboard, or Purchase tokens in the editor. Pick a token package, click Purchase, and pay by card on Stripe. The tokens are added to the workspace and never expire.

Before you start

  • Tokens are bought for one workspace. Open the workspace that needs them. Its projects and members share the balance.
  • Any member can buy tokens, on a trial too. When the workspace's trial or subscription has ended, the dashboard shows the locked window instead: subscribe first.
  • All token purchases are final and non-refundable.
  • Package sizes and prices are shown in the window. They're the same for every plan.

Steps

  1. Open the Purchase Tokens window in one of these ways:
    • On the dashboard, next to your workspace name, click N tokens remaining.
    • In Workspace Settings → General, in the AI tokens card, click Purchase Tokens.
    • In the editor, click N tokens in the floating toolbar at the bottom of the canvas.
    • In the editor, click the project name (top center), then Purchase tokens.
  2. Look at the token packages. Each card shows the number of tokens and the price. A bigger package can carry a badge such as 20% extra.
  3. Click the package you want. The cheapest one is selected when the window opens.
  4. Click Purchase. Stripe's checkout page opens.
  5. Enter your card details, and a promotion code if you have one, then pay.
  6. Stripe sends you back to the page you came from.

Check that it worked

A message says "Tokens have been successfully purchased." The N tokens remaining counter goes up. If it hasn't changed yet, wait a moment and refresh the page. An invoice is emailed to the address you typed on Stripe's checkout page. See Where do I find my invoices?.

Troubleshooting

"No token products available. Please try again later." The token packages couldn't load. Refresh the page and try again.

"Failed to purchase tokens. Please try again." Stripe's checkout page couldn't open. Try again. If it keeps failing, write to hello@teleporthq.io.

"Your trial has ended" or "Your subscription has ended" opens instead of Purchase Tokens The workspace is locked. The owner can click Subscribe to Restore Access or Renew to Restore Access. Other members see This workspace is locked. See What happens when my trial or subscription ends?.

What happens when I run out of AI tokens?

When a TeleportHQ workspace doesn't have enough AI tokens, an AI feature stops before it starts and shows a message such as "You need more tokens to continue with this operation. Please purchase more tokens." with the Purchase Tokens window; buy a token pack, earn tokens, or wait for your plan's 30-day reset.

What uses AI tokens, and how much?

In TeleportHQ, every AI feature uses AI tokens for the AI work it really does, so costs vary; as a guide, an AI website page is about 3,000 tokens, a web app page about 15,000, a new section at least 1,500 and a 4-second AI video about 9,000, while stock images cost nothing, a run that fails before the AI works costs nothing, and AI 3D models aren't available yet.

How to earn free AI tokens

You can earn free TeleportHQ AI tokens by referring people who subscribe through the Affiliate Program (the How it works section on the Affiliate tab shows the reward), completing Quests, answering the AI feedback survey (500 tokens, at most once every 7 days) and subscribing before your trial ends (25,000 bonus tokens for the first month).

Which payment methods can I use? (cards, promo codes)

TeleportHQ subscriptions, add-ons and AI token packs are paid by card on Stripe's secure checkout page; PayPal and bank transfer aren't offered, and promotion codes can be entered on the checkout page.
