What is the Academic plan?
The TeleportHQ Academic plan is for schools and educational programs. It has a fixed price with 25 editor seats included, so a teacher can invite a whole class without paying per seat. It includes 1,250,000 AI tokens every 30 days and unlimited projects. When a student finishes, the school can move their project into a free, permanent Graduate workspace that the student owns.

How to get the TeleportHQ Academic plan
Academic is one of the choices under Plan in the plan picker, next to Pro and Premium. Pick it when you subscribe a workspace, or when you create a new one. See How to subscribe to Pro or Premium for the steps, and choose Academic under Plan. The card then shows "Fixed price — no per-seat charges." and the plan's 1,250,000 AI tokens a month.
- Add-ons at checkout: you can add extra custom domains, extra languages and Web App slots under Add-ons before you pay, or buy them later in Workspace Settings.
- Switch billing period with Switch to Monthly or Switch to Yearly on the Academic card of the Plans tab.
- Cancel with Cancel Subscription on the same card. See How to cancel (or resume) your subscription.
- The Academic plan can't change in place to Pro or Premium. To move, cancel it and subscribe again when the paid period ends, or subscribe a new workspace.
What is the Graduate plan?
When a student in an Academic workspace graduates, the workspace owner or an admin can move the student's graduation project into a new workspace that the student owns. That workspace is on the Graduate Plan (badge GRADUATE): "Permanent free workspace preserved from an Academic team."
A Graduate workspace:
- holds 1 project;
- has only the owner as editor (no invites);
- has no custom domain, no AI tokens and no code download;
- keeps the same asset storage as Pro;
- never expires.
A copy of the project stays in the Academic workspace. To unlock more, the student can click Upgrade workspace in Workspace Settings → General. For the steps, see How to graduate a student.
Good to know
- The 25 seats are for editing roles (Owner, Admin, Designer and Editor). Viewers don't use a seat. See How do editor seats work?.
- If the Academic subscription ends, the workspace is locked like any other plan. See What happens when my trial or subscription ends?.
- Graduate workspaces aren't affected when the Academic subscription ends.
