How to build the rest of your planned pages later

When the TeleportHQ AI Website Builder creates your project, it plans every page your site needs but builds only the most important ones first: 1 page on a trial, and up to 4 on Pro or Premium. The others wait in your Pages list under Planned — not built. To generate one, click Create on its row. A planned page costs no tokens until you click Create.

Before you start

  • Planned pages exist only in projects made with the AI Website Builder, including AI stores.
  • Each page uses AI tokens when you create it. To start a website page, you need at least 3,500 tokens available. A web app or store page needs about 15,000. If other pages are still building, your balance must cover them too. See What uses AI tokens, and how much?.

Steps

  1. In the TeleportHQ editor's left sidebar, click the Pages, Components & Tree View icon. The Explorer panel opens.

  1. In the Pages folder, find the rows with a dashed outline under Planned — not built. The number next to the heading shows how many pages are waiting. A subfolder can have its own planned pages.

  1. Point at a planned row to read what the AI planned for that page.
  2. Click Create on the row. The button changes to Creating.
  3. The page joins the Generating panel and builds like the others. See What happens while AI builds your site (and if it fails).

The first time planned pages show in your Pages list, a hint titled These pages are planned, not built explains them. Click Got it to close it.

Check that it worked

The page moves out of Planned — not built and appears as a normal page in your Pages list. When it finishes, you can open and edit it.

You can also find planned pages when you generate a new page with AI: the prompt lists them under "Already planned for this project — pick one to find it in the page list." Click one to jump to its row.

Troubleshooting

The Create button is greyed out The page is built from another page that is still generating. Point at the button to see: "This page is built from “{X}”. It can be created once that page finishes generating." Wait for that page to finish, then click Create.

"“{X}” has not been generated yet. This page can still be created, but it will be built without that page's design as a reference." You can create the page now, but it may match your site less closely. For the best result, create page {X} first.

"{n} pages are already being generated, and your remaining tokens are reserved for them. You need about {X} more tokens. Wait for them to finish, or add more tokens to queue this page too." Your balance is set aside for pages already building, and the Purchase Tokens window opens. Wait until those pages finish, or buy more tokens. See What happens when I run out of AI tokens?.

"Your token balance does not cover another page. You need about {X} more tokens." Add tokens, then click Create again.

"Could not start generating "{page}". Please try again." Click Create again. If it keeps failing, reload the editor and try once more.

I can't see any planned pages Either the AI built every page it planned, or planned pages are hidden. To show them:

  1. At the bottom of the left sidebar, click the Project settings cog.
  2. Under Editor, click Preferences, then Editing.
  3. Under Export and AI, turn on Show proposed pages.
The Export and AI section of the Project settings Editing preferences, with the Show proposed pages switch highlighted

The same switch is in the Project Menu (the TeleportHQ logo at the top left): Edit → Export and AI → Show proposed pages.

Good to know

  • Turning off Show proposed pages only hides the planned pages; nothing is deleted.
  • TeleportHQ builds at most 4 pages at the same time. Extra pages wait in the queue and start on their own.
  • If you don't need a planned page, you can leave it. It costs nothing.

What happens while AI builds your site (and if it fails)

While TeleportHQ's AI builds your pages, a Generating panel in the editor shows each page's progress, up to 4 items build at the same time, you get an email when everything is done, the AI sets up the list pages of your store, Bookings, blog or help center at the end, and a page that fails can be retried without being charged tokens.

How to generate a new page with AI

In the TeleportHQ editor, click + next to Pages, choose New Page and then Generate Page with AI, pick a suggested page or describe the page you want, and click Generate to build it in your site's design, with your existing navigation and footer.

What uses AI tokens, and how much?

In TeleportHQ, every AI feature uses AI tokens for the AI work it really does, so costs vary; as a guide, an AI website page is about 3,000 tokens, a web app page about 15,000, a new section at least 1,500 and a 4-second AI video about 9,000, while stock images cost nothing, a run that fails before the AI works costs nothing, and AI 3D models aren't available yet.

What happens when I run out of AI tokens?

When a TeleportHQ workspace doesn't have enough AI tokens, an AI feature stops before it starts and shows a message such as "You need more tokens to continue with this operation. Please purchase more tokens." with the Purchase Tokens window; buy a token pack, earn tokens, or wait for your plan's 30-day reset.
