How to generate videos and 3D models with AI

In TeleportHQ you can make a short AI video of 4, 6 or 8 seconds in two ways: animate an image on your page (Generate with AI → Convert to Video), or describe the video with the AI Video element. Before you generate, the window shows what the clip will cost in AI tokens and your balance. AI 3D model generation isn't available yet. In the meantime, you can add free 3D models from the Assets Manager.

Before you start

  • Videos use many more AI tokens than images, and a longer clip costs more. See What uses AI tokens, and how much?.
  • Generated videos are saved to your project's assets and count toward storage.

Turn an image into a video

  1. On the TeleportHQ canvas, click the image you want to animate, for example your hero photo.
  2. Click Generate with AI, then open the Convert to Video tab. It says "This image will be animated into a short video."
  3. Optional: in Describe the motion (optional), describe how it should move. For example: Slow zoom in, gentle camera pan.
  4. Under Clip length, choose 4s, 6s or 8s.
  5. Check the cost line under it. For a 4-second clip it reads Generates a ~4s video · ≈… tokens, with the token cost in place of the dots. Below it, Your balance: … tokens shows what you have.
The TeleportHQ Convert to Video tab on a selected image, with a motion description, the Clip length choice and the cost line highlighted
  1. Click Generate video. It usually takes 30 to 60 seconds. You can close the window meanwhile: the clip is added to your project when it's ready.
  2. When the preview is ready ("Saved to your assets library."), click Replace image with video. Or click Add to page instead to keep the image and add the video next to it.

Create a video from a description

  1. In the left sidebar, click Elements, open Primitives, and find the AI group.
The AI group of the TeleportHQ Primitives tab, with AI Section, AI Image, AI Video and AI 3D Model
  1. Add AI Video to your page. The Generate Video with AI window opens.
  2. Optional: click Add an image to animate (optional). With no image, the video is made from your description only ("With no image we generate the video from your description (text-to-video).").
  3. In Describe the video, type what should happen (up to 1,000 characters). For example: Leaves swaying in the wind in front of a small cafe window.
  4. Under Clip length, choose 4s, 6s or 8s, and check the cost line.
  5. Click Generate video.
  6. Click Add to page.

To replace an existing video on your page, select it, click Generate with AI, use the AI Generation tab, then click Replace this video.

Check that it worked

The video appears on your page and in the Assets Manager, so you can reuse it on other pages. See How to add a video from your computer for video settings such as autoplay.

AI 3D models: not available yet

The AI 3D Model element appears in the AI group, but AI 3D model generation isn't available yet. When you add the element, TeleportHQ shows: "AI 3D model generation is coming soon. In the meantime, browse free 3D models in the Assets Manager." No generation runs and no tokens are used.

Troubleshooting

"You don't have enough tokens to generate a video." Click Buy tokens, or choose a shorter Clip length. See How to buy more AI tokens.

"Add an image to this element first, then convert it into a video." The selected element has no image yet. Add an image, then open Convert to Video again.

"The clip was generated but could not be saved to your assets — nothing was lost, try saving it again." Click Save to assets again.

"Failed to generate video. Please try again." or "There was a problem while generating your video. Please try again." Try again, or simplify the description.

"AI 3D model generation is coming soon." AI 3D models aren't available yet. Use a free or uploaded 3D model instead, as described above.

What uses AI tokens, and how much?

In TeleportHQ, every AI feature uses AI tokens for the AI work it really does, so costs vary; as a guide, an AI website page is about 3,000 tokens, a web app page about 15,000, a new section at least 1,500 and a 4-second AI video about 9,000, while stock images cost nothing, a run that fails before the AI works costs nothing, and AI 3D models aren't available yet.
