How to reuse pages and sections AI generated earlier (AI Hub)

The TeleportHQ AI Hub keeps the pages and sections AI has generated in your project. To add one again, click your project name at the top of the editor, choose AI Hub, click the page or section you want, and click Add Page to Project or Add Section to Project. This is handy when you replaced a section and want the earlier AI version back. Adding a copy doesn't use AI tokens.

Steps

  1. In the TeleportHQ editor, at the top center, click your project name. A menu opens.
  2. Click AI Hub.

  1. The AI Hub window shows your AI generations as thumbnails, each marked Page or Section. Optional: type in the search box to find one by name.
  2. Scroll to see more, and click the thumbnail you want. A preview opens (Generated Page Preview or Generated Section Preview).

  1. Click Add Page to Project or Add Section to Project. The button shows Importing... while it works.

You can also open the AI Hub from the Project Menu: click the TeleportHQ logo at the top left, then AI Hub.

Check that it worked

You see "Page imported successfully." or "Section imported successfully."

  • A re-added page appears in your Pages list.
  • A re-added section goes at the end of the open page when nothing is selected on the canvas, so press Esc before you add it. It's also saved as a component in your Components list.

Troubleshooting

"No pages or sections found" The window says "We couldn't find any AI-generated pages or sections to show you right now." Nothing has been generated with AI in this project yet, or the list hasn't loaded. Click Refresh content (the circular arrow at the top of the window), or try again later.

"Failed to import page. Please try again." or "Failed to import section. Please try again." Click the button again. If it keeps failing, reload the editor.

I can't find something generated in another project The AI Hub only shows generations from the project you have open. To reuse a page from another project, copy it. See How to copy elements and components to another project.

Good to know

  • A note at the top of the AI Hub says "Every page and section generated with AI in this project shows up here." That includes sections the AI Assistant generates in the chat. Click its X (Dismiss) to hide it until you open the window again.
  • Adding a copy doesn't change the page or section already on your site, and it doesn't use AI tokens.
  • The old Generated with AI section in the left panel has moved into the AI Hub.
  • For undoing a recent AI change, Undo is usually quicker. See How to undo changes made by the AI Assistant.

How to generate a new page with AI

In the TeleportHQ editor, click + next to Pages, choose New Page and then Generate Page with AI, pick a suggested page or describe the page you want, and click Generate to build it in your site's design, with your existing navigation and footer.

How to generate a new section with AI

In TeleportHQ, generate a section with AI from the Sections tab (Generate using AI, then Generate Section), with the AI Section element, or with Generate with AI on an empty component, and the section is built in your site's design.

What happens while AI builds your site (and if it fails)

While TeleportHQ's AI builds your pages, a Generating panel in the editor shows each page's progress, up to 4 items build at the same time, you get an email when everything is done, the AI sets up the list pages of your store, Bookings, blog or help center at the end, and a page that fails can be retried without being charged tokens.

How to undo changes made by the AI Assistant

In TeleportHQ, undo an AI Assistant request with the Undo button above the canvas or Ctrl/Cmd+Z (one request is one Undo step), restore bigger changes from a project backup, and roll back a publish from your deployments; database changes, store refunds or cancellations, and booking actions or refunds made by AI can't be undone.

How to back up and restore your project

In the TeleportHQ editor, click Backups in the bottom toolbar, then Backup current project state to save a snapshot, or Restore next to a backup (such as Before Web App features Enabled) to bring the project back to that point; backups need a Pro or Premium plan, trial users ask support to restore, and you must republish afterwards.
