How to open the demo project
To try the TeleportHQ demo project, open your dashboard, expand RESOURCES in the left sidebar and click Demo Project. Choose the workspace to save it in and click Save project. TeleportHQ copies the "Intro to teleportHQ" sample project into your workspace and opens it in the editor, so you can click around and change anything without starting from scratch.
Before you start
- The demo is copied as a new project, so it counts toward your workspace's project limit. A trial workspace holds only 1 project: if you open the demo on a trial, you can't create another project until you delete it or subscribe. See How many projects can I have?.
- You need a workspace where you can create projects. The window lists the workspaces where you have an editing role and room for another project.
Steps
- On your TeleportHQ dashboard, find RESOURCES at the bottom of the left sidebar.
- If the list is closed, click RESOURCES to expand it.
- Click Demo Project. The Save Demo project to your workspaces window opens.
- In the workspace menu, choose where to save the copy. The first workspace is already selected.
- Click Save project. The demo project opens in the editor.
If only one of your workspaces has room for another project, TeleportHQ skips the window, saves the demo there and opens it straight away.
Check that it worked
The demo project opens in the TeleportHQ editor. On your dashboard, it appears as a new project card in the workspace you picked. It's your own copy, so your changes don't affect anyone else.
Troubleshooting
"Projects limit reached" All your workspaces are full: "All your existing workspaces have reached the projects limit." Click Upgrade to choose a paid plan, or Maybe later, then delete a project you don't need and try again. See How to delete a project.
