How many projects can I have?
A TeleportHQ trial workspace can hold 1 project. Pro and Premium workspaces have unlimited projects. The limit applies to each workspace separately, and archived projects count toward it. When a workspace's trial or subscription has ended, you can't create new projects in it until it's subscribed again.
Project limits by plan
| Workspace plan | Projects per workspace |
|---|---|
| Trial | 1 |
| Pro | Unlimited |
| Premium | Unlimited |
| Academic | Unlimited |
| Graduate (after an Academic plan) | 1 |
| Lifetime and Enterprise (older plans) | Unlimited |
| Expired (trial or subscription ended) | 0: no new projects |
"Unlimited" means up to 1,000 projects in each workspace. For everything else each plan includes, see What's the difference between Trial, Pro and Premium?. For the Academic and Graduate plans, see What is the Academic plan?. For older plans, see I'm on an older or Lifetime plan: what do I get?.
What counts as a TeleportHQ project
These all create a project and count toward the workspace's limit:
- Creating a project from + New Project, including an AI project you started but didn't finish.
- Starting from a template.
- Cloning or duplicating a project.
- Copying the Demo Project.
- Importing a design from Figma.
Archived projects count too. An archived project keeps its place while it's archived. After a trial that ended without a subscription, TeleportHQ deletes archived projects about 30 days after archiving; a workspace whose paid subscription ended keeps them. See What does "Archived" mean on my project?. Deleted projects don't count.
When you reach the TeleportHQ project limit
When the workspace is full, clicking + New Project, Clone or Duplicate opens a window titled Workspace has reached project limit. On a trial it says "Your plan is limited to 1 project file per workspace."
- If you own the workspace, click Upgrade now to choose a paid plan, or Maybe later to close the window.
- If you're a member, the window asks you to have the owner upgrade the workspace, and Upgrade now opens the pricing page.
To make room without upgrading, delete a project you no longer need. See How to delete a project.
If the TeleportHQ workspace has expired
When a workspace's trial or subscription has ended, + New Project is dimmed with the message "This workspace’s subscription has ended. Resubscribe to create projects." You also can't clone, rename or delete projects until the owner subscribes. See What happens when my trial or subscription ends?.
Page limits per project
Each project on a TeleportHQ trial can have up to 200 pages. Pro and Premium projects have no page limit. When you reach the limit, the editor shows "You reached the maximum number of pages allowed in a project."
Good to know
- A second workspace doesn't give you a second trial. Each account gets one trial, so creating another workspace doesn't add a free project. See How does the TeleportHQ free trial work?.
- Templates have their own limit. Each account can start from up to 10 different templates. See How to start a project from a template.
- Projects shared with you under Shared projects belong to someone else's workspace and don't count toward your limit.
