A tour of the TeleportHQ dashboard
The TeleportHQ dashboard is the home screen you see after signing in. The left sidebar lists your workspaces, the projects shared with you, and helpful resources. The main area shows the selected workspace: its plan and AI token balance at the top, the + New Project button, your folders, and a card for each project. Click a project card to open it in the editor.
The TeleportHQ dashboard has three areas:
- The left sidebar, with your workspaces, the projects shared with you, and helpful resources.
- The workspace header, with the selected workspace's plan, its AI token balance and the + New Project button.
- Your folders, and a card for each project.
The left sidebar
The TeleportHQ dashboard's left sidebar starts with the TeleportHQ logo: click it to go back to your default workspace. Below the logo, the sidebar has these sections, from top to bottom:
- WORKSPACES: the workspaces you own. Each one shows a plan badge, such as TRIAL, PRO or PREMIUM. Click a workspace to see its projects.
- SHARED WITH ME: a Shared projects row for single projects someone invited you to, followed by the workspaces you were invited to. See How to find projects shared with you.
- New Workspace: create another workspace. See How to create a new workspace.
- RESOURCES: click to expand. It contains Figma Plugin, Demo Project, Video Tutorials, Help Center, Discord, Github and Refer & Earn.
Every new account starts with one workspace named My workspace. See What is a workspace?.
The workspace menu
Hover a workspace in the sidebar and click its ⋯ menu for quick links.
- If you own the workspace: Workspace Settings, Manage Collaborators, Plans, Billing and Rename. Workspaces with a subscription also show Custom Domains, Extra Languages and Web Apps.
- If you're a member: Workspace Settings, See Collaborators and Leave Workspace.
The workspace header
The top of the TeleportHQ dashboard shows the selected workspace:
- N tokens remaining: the workspace's AI token balance. Click it to buy more. It turns orange when you have none left. See What are AI tokens?. On the same line:
- The workspace name and its plan badge.
- Earn tokens (or Claim N rewards): opens Quests, guided tasks that earn AI tokens. See What are Quests?.
- Manage: opens the workspace settings (owners and admins). Near it:
- The plan name and how many projects the workspace has.
- Upgrade to Premium and Compare plans: shown to owners of a Pro workspace.
Banners appear when something needs your attention, such as a trial countdown, a failed payment, or a trial or subscription that has ended.
At the top right, + New Project starts a new project. See How to create a new project.
Folders and projects
Below the header, the TeleportHQ dashboard lists the workspace's content.
- Folders (paid plans only) group projects. Click a folder to open it, and use the path at the top to go back. See How to organize projects in folders.
- Projects shows a card for each project, with tools above the cards:
- A search box ("Search N projects...") that finds projects by name. You can also press Ctrl + F (⌘ + F on Mac).
- A sort menu: Last edited, Date created, A-Z or Last opened.
- Filter: show only some projects (see below).
- Two view buttons, Show projects as a grid and Show projects as a list, to switch between cards and one row per project.
- Select, to move or delete several projects at once (owners and admins). See How to move or delete several projects at once.
Filter and tag your projects
The Filter menu on the TeleportHQ dashboard narrows the project cards by:
- Status: Any status, Published or Not published.
- Has: Online store, Online bookings, Web App, CMS, Made with AI or Multilingual.
- Tags: the tags you added to your projects.
While a filter is on, the button reads Filters (N). Click Clear filters to show every project again.
To tag a project, open its ⋯ menu, click Edit Tags, type a tag in Add a tag, like a client or a status, press Enter, then click Save.
What a TeleportHQ project card shows
Each project card on the TeleportHQ dashboard shows a picture of the project and, from top to bottom, five lines: its name, its address, a line of chips, a status line and its storage. The name stays on one line; point at a long name to read it whole. The card shows:
- The published address, or Not deployed if the project isn't published. Below it, one line of chips:
- The kind of project: CMS, Store, Bookings or Web App. Point at a chip to read what it means; a Bookings project, for example, takes bookings online and needs a Web App slot to publish and run.
- The project's languages, or Single language.
- Your role in the project.
- The project's tags, if it has any.
- Chips that don't fit on the line are counted in a +N chip. Point at it to read them.
- The status line: Last opened:, with how long ago you last opened it, and the people who have access. At the bottom, the storage line shows how many files the project stores and how much space they use.
- The ⋯ menu at the top right, with actions such as Rename, Clone and Delete.
Some chips mean you need to act:
- Archived: the project is frozen, usually because the trial or subscription ended. The workspace owner sees a Restore button on the card. See What does "Archived" mean on my project?.
- Archives in N days: the project will be archived soon. The workspace owner sees it after cancelling a subscription.
- Subscription required: a web app needs a Web App slot to stay online. This chip comes first on its line, and the status line shows the countdown. It's amber while the web app still has full access, with "Site goes offline in N days" and the date. It turns red once the web app is archived, with "Archived until a slot covers it". Point at the chip to read what it means. The workspace owner can click Subscribe to keep it online (or Subscribe to unlock) on the card to buy a slot. See Why does my web app need a slot?.
The project card menu
Click the ⋯ menu on a project card for these actions, depending on your role:
- Rename: see How to rename a project.
- Edit Tags: add or remove the project's tags.
- Clone: make a copy. See How to duplicate a project.
- Move to Folder: see How to organize projects in folders.
- Delete: see How to delete a project.
- Project Settings: open the project's settings without opening the editor.
- Leave Project: on projects in Shared projects, remove yourself.
Good to know
- Last opened on a card is when you last opened the project. The Last opened sort uses the same time, while the Last edited sort uses the last time anyone changed the project. The two orders can differ.
- While a workspace you own is on its free trial, the Your 7 day free trial is live window opens each time you load the dashboard. Click Keep exploring to close it.
- TeleportHQ works best in a window at least 767 pixels wide. In a narrower window, the dashboard shows a "too narrow" warning, and the project cards stack into fewer columns.
- If a workspace can't load, you see "Oops!" with a Reload button. This can happen if you no longer have access to that workspace.
