How to use the E-Commerce panel and the store tour

Your TeleportHQ store is set up from the E-Commerce panel. Open it with the E-commerce icon (a credit card) in the editor's left sidebar, or from Plugins → E-commerce → Open. It holds your Payment Providers and Products, and its gear opens all store settings. Your orders, reports and subscribers are followed in the Growth panel, under E-Commerce. For a guided walkthrough, click E-Commerce Tutorial (the info icon) at the top of the panel: TeleportHQ opens and highlights each part of the store and explains what it does.

Before you start

Open the TeleportHQ E-Commerce panel

  1. In the editor's left sidebar, click E-commerce. The icon appears once the store is on, among the plugin icons above Plugins. Icons can be reordered or hidden, so it may sit elsewhere for you.
  2. If you don't see it, click Plugins, then the E-commerce row. A settings drawer opens beside the list.
  3. In the drawer, under Panel, click Open next to E-commerce panel.

To bring the icon back, switch on Show in the left sidebar in the same drawer.

Start the store tour

  1. In the E-Commerce panel, click E-Commerce Tutorial (the info icon at the top).
  2. Watch the tour. It runs by itself: it clicks the E-commerce icon ("Let's open the E-commerce panel"), then highlights Payment Providers, Products and the product form (including product options and the product's page), the store settings (including Product pages, Invoices and Vouchers), the e-commerce folder and the product details page. It ends in the Growth panel, on Orders and Subscriptions.

You can also start the tour:

  • right after activating the store: click Show Me in the E-Commerce is Ready! window;
  • from Plugins → E-commerce → Start tutorial, in the drawer's Feature section. The button is greyed out while the store is off ("Enable E-commerce to see its tutorial.");
  • from Pages, Components & Tree View: right-click the e-commerce folder in the Pages list and click Tutorial.

What's in the TeleportHQ E-Commerce panel

  1. The panel's header: E-Commerce Tutorial (info icon) starts the tour, and E-Commerce Settings (gear) opens the E-Commerce Setup panel. When order notifications are on but reach nobody, an orange warning button sits between them: point at it to read why, and click it to open Configure Notifications.
  2. Payment Providers: your connected providers, each marked Connected, Webhook after publish, Webhook needed or Misconfigured. Click + to add one. With none yet, the list says No payment providers configured above an Add Payment Provider button. See How to accept payments with Stripe or PayPal.
  3. Products: your product list, with:
    • + (Add Product) to create a product. See How to add a product.
    • More actions (…): Refresh Data, Import Products, Export Products and Recreate Checkout Page.
    • category pills (All, your categories, and Manage), a Search products... box and Filter products (All products, Gift cards, Digital products, Recurring products or One-time products).

Detailed panels, like a product form or the delivery settings, open to the right of the E-Commerce panel. If you open another panel while a product has unsaved changes, TeleportHQ asks whether to discard them.

Where your orders and subscribers are

The TeleportHQ E-Commerce panel has no orders list. Your store's records are in the Growth panel (under Live in the left sidebar), in its E-Commerce group:

When the store needs attention

An orange warning on the E-commerce icon, and a Needs attention icon on the store's row in Plugins, mean something in the store is switched on but can't work:

  • "<Provider> is not set up": a payment provider is switched on, but its credentials are missing, so no payment can go through it. Click Set up.
  • "Order notifications reach nobody": order notifications are on, but they have no email provider, no usable sender or no address to go to. Click Configure.

Click Plugins, then E-commerce: the drawer's Needs attention section lists each problem with its fix button. A store setting that misses something, such as Stock Management alerts without an email provider, also shows a warning next to its switch in E-Commerce Setup.

The E-Commerce Setup panel

Click the gear (E-Commerce Settings) to open E-Commerce Setup. It lists every store setting, with a switch and a button to configure it:

  • Enable Delivery, Cash on Delivery, Store Pickup, Guest Checkout, Stock Management, Order Notifications, Allow Favourites, Allow Reviews, Invoices and Abandoned Cart Reminders;
  • Products Listing (Customize), Product pages (Manage) and Google Shopping (Manage);
  • Digital products, Vouchers, Shipping & Tax Regions, Automatic Discounts and Gift Cards;
  • Disable E-Commerce, at the very bottom. See How to regenerate store pages or turn off e-commerce.

Add store elements to any page

The TeleportHQ Elements panel has an E-Commerce group with ready-made store blocks:

  1. In the left sidebar, click Elements.
  2. Scroll to the E-Commerce group.
  3. Click or drag an element onto your page:
    • List Products and Grid Products: a list or grid of your products.
    • Category Menu, Category Mega Menu and Category Filter: category navigation.
    • Details Product: one product's details.
    • Cart Button: opens the shopper's cart.

If e-commerce is off, the group shows E-Commerce Required and an Enable E-Commerce button. See How to show products on your pages.

Ask the AI Assistant about your store

The TeleportHQ AI Assistant chat can help with store tasks. You can ask it to:

  • turn on e-commerce ("enable e-commerce");
  • create a product, for example "Create a product called Lavender Soy Candle for 24 EUR";
  • find products, or give you the links to your products list and product pages for a campaign (product links work after you publish);
  • open a store panel, such as the orders list (in the Growth panel), add product, product pages, or the delivery, store pickup, stock, notifications, invoices, reviews or Google Shopping settings.

See What can the TeleportHQ AI Assistant do?.

Good to know

  • The tour runs by itself. You don't need to click through the steps; it opens each panel for you.
  • Product form changes need saving. In the product form, edit what you need, then click Save Changes. The tour says so too.

How to create an online store with TeleportHQ

You can create an online store in TeleportHQ in two ways, by letting AI build a complete store (or starting from a store template) from the E-commerce card in New Project, or by switching on E-commerce in an existing project from Plugins, and then you connect a payment provider such as Stripe or PayPal, add products and publish.

How to add a product

To add a product to your TeleportHQ store, open the E-Commerce panel from the editor's left sidebar, click + (Add Product), fill in Product Name and Price, check the Currency and Status, and click Create Product.

How to find and manage orders

In TeleportHQ, open Growth → E-Commerce → Orders in the editor's left sidebar to see your store's sales figures, search and sort every order, and click one to ship, refund, cancel, mark as paid or change its status; your live site's admin panel lists them too.

How to show products on your pages

To show products on a TeleportHQ page, add List Products or Grid Products from Elements → E-Commerce and adjust it in the Products List Settings panel, or add Details Product for a single product; to change the store's own products page (filters, grid or list view, pagination), use E-Commerce Settings → Products Listing → Customize.

How to accept payments with Stripe or PayPal

To accept online payments in a TeleportHQ store, open E-commerce → Payment Providers, click +, pick Stripe, PayPal or another provider, paste its API keys and click Save Configuration; when you publish, TeleportHQ connects the Stripe or PayPal webhook for you so paid orders are marked paid.

What can the TeleportHQ AI Assistant do?

The TeleportHQ AI Assistant is a chat in the editor that changes your pages, builds animations, scroll stories and page transitions, generates pages, images and scroll videos, manages your database, online store, bookings and blog settings, sets up SEO and project settings, builds workflows in web apps, publishes, and answers how-to questions from the help center.
