What's in the Growth tab?

The Growth tab in the TeleportHQ editor is one place to promote your site, understand your visitors, read what they send you and improve how it ranks on Google. It holds the Marketing Studio, Analytics and SEO & Performance, your Form submissions and, when your project has a store or takes bookings, its Orders, Subscriptions and Bookings. The marketing, analytics and SEO tools work on a trial or a paid plan (Pro or Premium).

How to open Growth

To open the TeleportHQ Growth tab, click Growth in the left sidebar of the editor. It's the last button, under the Live label. The Growth panel opens with a status line, a short introduction ("Promote your site, understand your visitors, read what they send you and improve how it ranks — everything you need to grow, in one place.") and the tools in groups. Click a tool to open it in a large area next to the panel. Click the X to close it.

The first time you open Growth in a project, a Welcome to Growth! window offers a quick tour. Click Show Me to take it, or Maybe Later to close the window. To start the tour later, click the info button (tooltip Growth Tutorial) at the top of the Growth panel.

The tools in Growth

The TeleportHQ Growth panel lists its tools in this order, with a line between the groups.

Marketing Studio: "Create social posts with AI". The TeleportHQ Marketing Studio holds your contacts, email and SMS campaigns, newsletters, AI-written social posts and AI graphics. It needs the user accounts (login) feature turned on in your project. See What is the Marketing Studio?.

Analytics: "See who visits your site". TeleportHQ's built-in visitor analytics shows how many people visit your published site, where they come from, which pages they view and what they click. It doesn't set cookies and needs no setup. See Does TeleportHQ analytics use cookies?, How to see who visits your site (Analytics) and How to track steps to a sale or signup (Funnels).

SEO & Performance: "Check and improve your site". TeleportHQ's SEO & Performance tools audit your live site for speed, SEO and accessibility, find hard-to-read text, show your Google search keywords and compare you with competitors. See How SEO works in TeleportHQ and How to check your site's SEO health.

Forms → Form submissions: "Read submissions & set up each form". The Forms group ("What visitors send through your forms") is always there. Form submissions lists every form of your TeleportHQ project that keeps its submissions, whichever page it's on, and shows what visitors sent through it from your published site. For each form you can open its Settings, use Show on page to select it on its page, or delete it. After Show on page, a Back to Forms button above the canvas takes you back to the list for about 10 seconds. A card at the bottom shows your plan's form and submission limits. See How to see and export form submissions.

E-Commerce → Orders and Subscriptions. The E-Commerce group ("Sales and subscribers from your store") only appears while your project has a TeleportHQ store turned on. Orders ("Track sales & export reports") lists your orders, with analytics and reports. Subscriptions ("See recurring customers") lists the customers on a subscription. See How to find and manage orders and How to sell subscriptions and manage subscribers.

Bookings → Bookings: "Answer requests and see who is coming". The Bookings group ("What customers booked on your site") only appears while the Bookings plugin is on in your project. It lists the bookings your customers made.

Growth Settings

Growth Settings is where you turn TeleportHQ visitor analytics on or off and choose which pages are tracked. To open it, click the gear button (tooltip Growth Settings) at the top of the Growth panel. See How to turn visitor analytics on or off and choose tracked pages.

What the status line means

The line at the top of the TeleportHQ Growth panel tells you whether visitor tracking is running:

StatusWhat it means
Your site is not published yetPublish your site first. Analytics and SEO checks read your live site.
Upgrade to start tracking visitorsYour workspace isn't on a trial or paid plan.
Tracking activeVisitor analytics is on and your site is published.
Analytics is offSomeone turned off Visitor analytics in Growth Settings.

Before you use Growth

  • A Trial, Pro or Premium workspace, for the marketing, analytics and SEO tools. On an expired workspace, the panel shows a PRO label. You can still open Analytics, Marketing Studio, SEO & Performance and Growth Settings, but a Growth is a paid feature banner shows at the top, and their actions open an upgrade window. Your trial counts as a paid plan for Growth. See What's the difference between Trial, Pro and Premium?.
  • A published site, for Analytics and SEO. Until you publish, Analytics shows Publish your site to start, and SEO & Performance shows Publish your site first. Both have a Publish project button that opens the Publish window. The Marketing Studio and the records of your forms, store and bookings open before you publish. See How to publish your site.
  • Permission to edit the project. People with a view-only role can't use Growth. In a read-only project, every Growth action shows "This project is read-only — Growth actions are disabled."
  • AI tokens, for AI actions. Actions like Fix with AI, AI keyword ideas and AI social posts use AI tokens. Running a Site Health audit doesn't. See What uses AI tokens, and how much?.

Good to know

  • Can't find Growth in the left sidebar? Someone may have hidden it. Right-click the buttons of the left sidebar and click Show all buttons.
  • Growth tools and SEO settings are different things. Page titles, descriptions, sitemap and redirects are set in Page SEO Settings and in Project settings → SEO & social, which work on every plan. The Growth tab adds the checks and reports. See How SEO works in TeleportHQ.
  • Broken links aren't in Growth. The editor's Issues window lists links that lead nowhere, even before you publish. See How to find and fix broken links on your site.
  • Closing the Growth tab stops live updates. When you switch to another tab in the left sidebar, any open Growth tool closes.
  • The AI Assistant can open Growth tools for you. For example, ask it to open Analytics or SEO & Performance.
  • Google Analytics is separate. You can add Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager next to, or instead of, TeleportHQ analytics. See How to add Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.

What is the Marketing Studio?

How SEO works in TeleportHQ

TeleportHQ gives every page a title, description, social image, canonical address and schema markup, writes your sitemap.xml, robots.txt and llms.txt when you publish, lets you hide a whole site with Show this site in search engines, lists broken links in the editor's Issues window, and adds audit tools under Growth → SEO & Performance.

How to see and export form submissions

In TeleportHQ, you see form submissions in Growth → Forms → Form submissions by picking a form in the Your forms list, where you search, open and edit entries, mark them as spam, move them to trash, download one as a PDF, or click Download submissions to export them as a CSV file.

How to find and manage orders

In TeleportHQ, open Growth → E-Commerce → Orders in the editor's left sidebar to see your store's sales figures, search and sort every order, and click one to ship, refund, cancel, mark as paid or change its status; your live site's admin panel lists them too.

What's the difference between Trial, Pro and Premium?

TeleportHQ has three plans. Trial is a free 7-day test of the whole product on 1 project, Pro is a paid plan for unlimited websites with private projects, a custom domain and code download, and Premium adds one included web app, more AI tokens, more storage and unlimited forms.
